About Flathub Updates
An independent way to keep up with the apps on Flathub.
Browse new and updated apps, discover publishers, explore categories, and subscribe to RSS feeds. Inspired by Snap Updates, using the same Vanilla Framework and a server-rendered interface.
What the dates mean
Imported activity uses the added and updated dates reported by Flathub. These source dates are stored separately from the time we captured them. For subsequent monitoring, activity records when this site first observes a change. “First seen” does not necessarily mean newly published on Flathub. Upstream releases are listed separately: their dates describe the developer’s releases rather than the publication of a Flatpak.
The first import establishes a baseline and does not create new-app events. Version changes are detected by comparing upstream AppStream metadata. Package rebuilds with an unchanged version are not currently tracked. Changes occurring entirely between polls can be missed.
Publishers and verification
Publisher pages group apps by their declared upstream developer name. This may differ from the Flatpak maintainer. Verification badges describe individual apps, as reported by Flathub; they do not certify every app with the same developer name.

The planned polling schedule is every 15 minutes, with a daily full catalogue reconciliation. All dates and daily statistics use UTC. Failed collection keeps the last known data.
Feeds and API
Subscribe to all changes, first seen apps, or updates. Each app, publisher and category has its own feed. Read-only JSON endpoints are available at /api/v1/apps and /api/v1/changes, with bounded page and limit parameters.
Sources and attribution
App metadata and media originate from Flathub and individual app authors. Their respective licences apply. The site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Flathub. Interface code is adapted from popey/snapupdates under the MIT licence.
